How to Add Your Tarkov OBS Overlay as a Browser Source

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • OBS Studio installed (version 27.0 or higher recommended)
  • A Twitch account

Step-by-Step Setup

Get Your Overlay URL

Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the Overlay Studio. Click on your overlay and copy the Browser Source URL.

Add Browser Source in OBS Studio

In OBS Studio, click the + button in Sources, select "Browser", give it a name, and click OK.

Configure Browser Source Settings

Paste your URL, set Width to 1920, Height to 1080, and leave other settings as default. Click OK.

Position Your Overlay

Click and drag the overlay in the OBS preview to position it where you want (bottom center for FIR items, top corners for kill counter).

Test With Chat Commands

Send commands like !firadd LEDX or !killa+ in your Twitch chat to test. The overlay should update in real-time!

Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the Overlay Studio. Each overlay has a unique Browser Source URL.

  1. Click on the overlay you want to add (Goop Tracker or Kill Counter)
  2. Look for the "Browser Source URL" section
  3. Click the "Copy URL" button

  • FIR Items: Bottom center or top center
  • Kill Counter: Top left or top right

Step 5: Test With Chat Commands

Test your overlay by sending chat commands in your Twitch chat:

!firadd LEDX
!killa+

The overlay should update in real-time!

Troubleshooting

Overlay not showing in OBS

  • Check that the Browser Source URL is correct
  • Ensure width is 1920 and height is 1080
  • Try right-clicking the source and selecting "Refresh"

Overlay not updating with chat commands

  • Verify your Twitch connection in the dashboard
