How to Add Tarkov Overlay to Streamlabs

Step-by-step guide to set up your Tarkov stream overlay in Streamlabs OBS and Streamlabs Desktop.

Streamlabs OBS Setup

Get Your Overlay URL

Log in to your dashboard, navigate to Overlay Studio, select your overlay, and copy the Browser Source URL.

Add to Streamlabs OBS

Open Streamlabs OBS, click + in Sources, select "Browser Source", name it, and click "Add Source".

Configure Settings

Paste your URL, set Width to 1920, Height to 1080, FPS to 30, and uncheck auto-refresh options.

Position and Test

Drag the overlay to position it. Test with commands like !firadd LEDX or !killa+ in Twitch chat.

Step 3: Configure Settings

Enter these settings:

Recommended settings for optimal performance

URL: [Your Overlay URL]
Width: 1920
Height: 1080
FPS: 30
Shutdown source when not visible: Unchecked
Refresh browser when scene becomes active: Unchecked

Click "Done" to save.

Step 4: Position and Test

Drag the overlay to your preferred position. Test it by sending chat commands:

!firadd LEDX
!killa+

Streamlabs Desktop Setup

Streamlabs Desktop (formerly Streamlabs OBS) follows the same process:

  1. Add Widget: Click the + icon in your Sources
  2. Choose Custom Widget: Select "Custom Widget" or "Browser Source"
  3. Paste URL: Insert your Tarkov OBS overlay URL
  4. Set Dimensions: Width: 1920, Height: 1080
  5. Position: Drag to position and resize as needed

Troubleshooting

Overlay appears but doesn't update

  • Verify your Twitch account is connected in the dashboard
  • Check that commands are being sent by a mod or broadcaster
  • Try right-clicking the source and selecting "Refresh"
  • Ensure "Shutdown source when not visible" is unchecked

Black screen instead of overlay

  • Double-check the URL is copied correctly
  • Ensure your internet connection is stable
  • Try deleting and re-adding the Browser Source
  • Check Streamlabs browser source cache settings

Overlay is laggy or slow

  • Lower the FPS to 20 or 15
  • Close unused Browser Sources
  • Ensure hardware acceleration is enabled in Streamlabs settings
  • Check your CPU usage - close unnecessary programs
